Oct. 7, 2008 - "Toyota’s Advanced Hybrid Technologies – Are You Prepared to Support Them in Your Shop?"

BETHESDA, MD – Oct. 7, 2008 – AAPEX attendees will learn about Toyota’s new hybrid technologies, during an educational program presented by Mark Saxonberg and Ed Ralbovsky, Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc., entitled, “Toyota’s Advanced Hybrid Technologies – Are You Prepared to Support Them in Your Shop?” The session will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. in the Sands Expo Center in rooms 301/302.

Driven by stringent emissions and safety standards, consumer demand for improved fuel economy and a revolution in enabling electronic technologies, technicians can’t begin a diagnosis or repair without understanding how systems work and affordable access to appropriate service information and diagnostic tools. Saxonberg and Ralbovsky will provide the latest information on Toyota Motor Corporation's hybrid vehicle technology and the service support resources Toyota Motor Sales USA has under development to support these products.

Attendees will learn:

  • Design and service fundamentals of the Lexus Hybrid System that powers the Lexus LS600h.
  • Design and service fundamentals of the LS600h engine, transmission and emissions systems.
  • Toyota’s latest service support resources and how to become “service ready” for any Toyota/Scion/Lexus customer who rolls into your shop.

All AAIA educational sessions at AAPEX are approved by the University of the Aftermarket for CEU credit toward the AAP and MAAP certificates. AAPEX will be held Tuesday Nov. 4 through Thursday, Nov. 6 in Las Vegas, Nev. For updated information on additional sessions, dates, times, locations and sponsors, visit www.aapexshow.com.
