AAIA Board and Executive Committee Nominations Open
Nominations are being accepted for AAIA's Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Individuals interested in being considered for nomination or nominating others are encouraged to do so by Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008. Eleven current board member positions will expire in April 2009. Nominees for the three-year Board terms of office must have served on an AAIA committee or segment committee for a minimum of one year and be employed by an AAIA member company in good standing. Candidates for the one-year Executive Committee terms of office must have served on the AAIA Board of Directors for a minimum of one year. All nominations must be received no later than Aug. 20, 2008 to be eligible for consideration. The AAIA Nominating Committee will meet at the upcoming Fall Leadership Days, Sept. 3-5, in San Antonio, Texas to review all qualified nominations. Serving on this year's committee are AAIA Past Chairman of the Board Richard Morgan, Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance; Richard Jago, Old World Industries, Inc.; James John, Northwood University; Ray Pohlman, AutoZone, Inc.; Thomas Powell, PSKB, Inc.; Mort Schwartz, Jarmms Associates and Doug Washbish, Moog Louisville Warehouse, Inc. David Bell, Erie DriveTrain, Inc. and Sean Stanic, IPC Global Solutions, will serve as alternates.
